Young Professionals Network

In this program, RICDOG will facilitate the creation of a Young Professionals Network in Kutaisi. The proposed project has two components:

In the first stage, RICDOG will hold a series of professional development workshops for local young professionals.  The workshops will employ peer-to-peer learning/training, group discussions, high-level technical content, and personal development activities.  The workshops will focus on broadly applicable professional skills needed to excel in the workplace and to advance careers.  The participants themselves will be responsible for designing and implementing some of the workshops.

In the second stage of the project, the participants will form their own Young Professionals Network.  As Founding Members, participants will create the foundation for a strong network of local young professionals in the community dedicated to promoting the professional, social, and civic development of its members. It is envisioned that the newly formed Network will continue to hold meetings and host various programs and social events intended to increase cooperation and support among local young professionals.

The project will kick-off with a one-night/one-day conference at an area hotel for participants. At this conference, the participants will learn about the details of the project -- schedule, agenda, timelines, expectations. Over the next four months, participants will meet on either Saturdays or Wednesday evenings eight group meetings. Each meeting will last approximately 3 hours.
